Eco Christmas Gift Guide

It's the time of year......and with so many of us still in lockdown here in Auckland, homemade gifts and online shopping for our loved ones are our only options!

If you're elsewhere in the country and able to head to the shops but just don't want to, I get that!

Part of me loves a good mall with decorations and xmas music, but the bigger part of me HATES the crowds and the overwhelming sense of consumerism! I'm a complex women! haha

Anyway, with in person shopping off the cards for me this year, I thought I'd put together a resource to help YOU guys with your gift giving this year too.

My priorities when shopping this year have been longevity and quality (not things that will break or unnecessary plastic), supporting NZ businesses (majority of businesses I'll share and NZ owned and operated, but there are some Australian businesses also, but lets face it, our Aussie fam are in the same boat as us with the restrictions and financial hardships!) and sustainability (are the businesses sourcing and manufacturing in a sustainable way).

I've divided each section for who you might be buying for, and have included some discount codes where available. But please don't let the discount be the only reason you shop though. Quite often with eco brands, margins are low because of sourcing and they have different priorities than big brands who can mark up higher.

Let’s vote with our dollars this year. Lets support small NZ businesses, our environment and also support our kids health by buying non-toxic toys and gifts.

For those who are keen, I'll also be doing a DIY gift guide in the next few weeks because I personally LOVE a good homemade gift.
